Install VirtualBox

• Installation of VirtualBox on Ubuntu Desktop

Install Images

Eg. Kali

• Download Kali Linux Images Securely, whatever Weekly Biulds Live (.img, Opt1.) or VM version (.ova, Opt2.) .

• Opt1. Install .img on VirtualBox:
  • New;
  • 2 GB Memory;
  • Hard disk: VDI;
  • Sorage on physical hard disk: Dynamically allocated, 20 GB;
  • Settings:
    • Storage: choose the CD-ROM icon associated to .img;
    • Other settings depends.
  • Boot
• Opt2. Install .ova:
  • Import, Other settings depends.
  • Boot

Eg. FreeBSD

• Adapter - Host-only for security; (Or bridge to use the same one with physical machine)
